Founder's profile.

Executive summary

Jarjis Imam is a Principal Cloud and AIOps Architect with 15+ years of cloud-operations maturity, leading digital transformation for Fortune 100 financial institutions and high-growth startups. An early pioneer of regulated-industry cloud adoption at AWS and Capital One, he has architected and deployed financial-services workloads in the cloud at a scale few have matched.

He is Founder & CEO of CloudsCockpit.io Inc., an SME-focused solutions company that does field research with SME groups to build skills first, then deploy solutions. CloudsCockpit.io is the company behind ActionBoard.ai — an operating system for the Agentic Era, where humans and coordinated AI agents execute real work through a structured, auditable loop.

"Data is like Air — essential, omnipresent, and only valuable when pure." Jarjis Imam · guiding philosophy

The innovation journey — from family to global impact

The journey began at Indiana University, where as a student employee in the Digital Creative department Jarjis designed the IDSNews.com content-management system — a single publishing pipeline that carried the Indiana Daily Student, a top Associated Press–member campus newspaper, from print to online. The paper faced closure from budget cuts with no website of its own; he built its first digital edition on an early ASP.NET beta, added a Student Apartment Finder revenue line, and helped it become fully independent from the IU school board.

Even as a student he saw the significance of the web-services patterns Amazon was pioneering — his Computer Information Systems graduation thesis argued that web services would power a new digital economy. He began his career as a software engineering lead delivering enterprise content and CMS systems for highly regulated organizations — Johnson & Johnson, Pfizer, Intel, and EMC Documentum — grounding him in compliance and large-scale publishing. The platform that exists today traces its spark to something personal: a tool he first built to help his sons learn Goal Mastery with AI.

2004–09
Software engineering lead delivering enterprise content, CMS and publishing systems for Johnson & Johnson, Pfizer, Intel and EMC Documentum — first chapter in regulated-industry data integrity.
2010
Joined the U.S. Department of Transportation (Office of the CIO) to build the first cloud infrastructure for DOT.gov websites.
2012
DevOps architect at FINRA — replaced a manual Jenkins build with Puppet-driven automated cloud deployment, helping run financial data at scale in the cloud for the first time.
2013
Recruited by AWS as its first Financial Services Enterprise Solutions Architect; led Capital One's cloud migration, reference-SA for SAS & Citrix, authored 12 AWS six-pagers, earned AWS Big Deal & MVP awards.
2016
Director of Cloud Operations & Engineering at Capital One; led the bank's first cloud engineering team and built the first version of Voltron — the genesis of the Voltron Formation that powers ActionBoard.ai today.
2018
Global CTO for AWS cloud business at SoftwareOne; built a $100M AWS partnership, pioneered the first cloud bank migrations in South America & South Asia, and designed a global billing service across 23 countries.
2020
Founded deepDataLabs.cloud to build data-analytics skills for emergency services; his ML team built a priority-scoring model on TigerDB to generate signal data.
2021
Founded CloudsCockpit.io, his first AI/MLOps community-driven startup, and drafted the AIOps maturity-based adoption framework that became ActionBoard.ai.

What he's building now · 2025–2026

Voltron Formation
A five-agent "Lion" architecture (Commander, Recon, Builder, Integrations, Quality) that escalates teams from solo prompting to coordinated, governed multi-agent delivery.
Voltron Castle
A local-first AI operating experience that runs on the user's own hardware and gets smarter with use, blending on-prem compute with AWS cloud services.
The Action Graph
A session-native memory architecture where every RAOARA loop writes an immutable decision trace — making agent memory compound while cutting token-heavy vector retrieval.
Maturity Model
A human-first 7-level operator ladder (L1 Apprentice → L7 Chief AutoAction Officer) that treats execution history as a verifiable professional credential.
Lab Cost & Tuning Pipeline
A model-development and tuning pipeline that drives down the per-user cost of AI-lab access — making cohort experimentation and model tuning affordable at scale.
Semi-Autonomous Agents
Semi-autonomous agentic systems that let low-AIOps-maturity operators execute real work at a low cost of failure — guardrails first, autonomy expanding as maturity grows.

Recognition & funding

Capital One Tech Excellence Award (2016, 2017) and the AWS MVP Award. CloudsCockpit.io is a certified AWS Partner, bootstrapped through Jarjis's own funding and AWS Activate — no venture capital. The mission throughout: reduce the cost of failure in innovation, so organizations use AI for verified, high-impact, governed action.

Section 02 · The Researchers 02

SME R&D team members.

Each of our core SMEs leads an ActionBoard.ai cohort and owns a dedicated AI research pod, advancing AIOps maturity alongside their team. A continuous Actionlist pipeline orchestrates work across ActionBoard end to end — CloudsCockpit runs on its own platform, and every member operates against a compounding AIOps-maturity metric.
